Speedrunning consistently blows our minds with inconceivable feats that the casual gamer dare not even dream about. Speedruns are some of the entertaining things to watch in the video game community, especially if you're familiar with the difficulty of the specific game in question and If I've learned anything from covering speedrunning stories is that no game is safe from the clutches of speedrunners. If there's a game out there, it's most likely been speedrun.
Yesterday I covered a story about a Youtuber speedrunning the newly released Prey in under 20 minutes, and today I'm covering a story about a speedrunner who completed a Homestar Runner web game in 17 milliseconds. That's right. Try to pay attention when you watch the speedrun. One blink and you could miss it...literally. A real blink of an eye takes anywhere from 100 to 400 milliseconds. Let that sink in for a minute.
Where's An Egg is a puzzle game designed to test people's deductive reasoning. The goal of the game is to find the egg. Imagine that? Is this taking speedrunning to far? Is this making a mockery of speedrunning? Is this pretty damn ridiculous? Yes to all three, but hey, it's entertaining at the least.
Watch the speedrun here.
P.S: In case you have no idea what happened in the video, he basically shot the dude in the face and got the egg instead of asking questions.
