Special Xbox One Burger Costs $460 to Eat (Xbox One included)

But it's mostly for the burger, I'm sure.

Sometimes, it’s nice to take a break from ‘real’ news for something a little more fun.

For example; did you know there’s a $460 Xbox One burger being sold in Hong Kong?

It’s true! Microsoft has teamed up with Triple-O's and Koei Tecmo to create the Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Xbox One Bundle; for the low price of HK$3580 (or 460 in USD) you get an Xbox One with a 500 GB drive, a download code for Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, a copy of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round on disk, 3 free months of Xbox Gold, $15 worth of Xbox Live Credit, a Biotherm Homme bag, a Dead or Alive cushion.. and, most importantly, a voucher for the Xbox One burger.

For a little shy of five hundred dollars, that’s actually a pretty nice deal. The burger itself, while included in the program, isn’t an “Xbox Exclusive” ironically—anyone can order an Xbox One burger from a Triple-O store for significantly less money.

And what makes it an Xbox One burger?

Well, the top kind of looks like an Xbox logo. And there’s more green in it than a normal burger… so… much like the differences between consoles, the difference between an Xbox One burger and any other is mostly astatic. Still, kinda funny—I wonder what Microsoft Executive thought “You know what would be a great fit with our game console? A burger.”

Still, we’ll never get to taste the glory for ourselves, unless you’re already in Hong Kong or plan on going soon, since it’s not coming stateside. Oh well. I’ll just get the PlayStation 4 burger from McDonalds… oh, wait, that’s not a promotional thing, it’s just disgusting. Oh well.
