Well, if you're looking forward to the now-overused superhero genre getting the same ribbing, then better look further forward than you anticipated because the game's been delayed to next year, according to a new, extremely brief update on the Ubisoft blog.
"South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal."
Well, delays are hardly abnormal in today's gaming world, but they're still a big bummer. Thankfully, while the South Park game may be highly anticipated, I doubt it's the type of game that will inspire death threats, so I feel safe reporting on this particular nugget.
Besides, what's a few more months of wait?
