People seemed rather taken with South Park’s latest title, The Fractured But Whole, which had the South Park crew spoofing the Superhero genre as they competed over who would get to create their own franchise and probably do some other stuff. I, uh, never actually played the game so I don’t know the plot. But I do know most people liked it, even if they found it comparatively sterile compared to the much more daring Stick of Truth, thanks in large part to the fact that Ubisoft is just a bit too conservative to make you dodge your dad’s swinging testicles.
Well if you were a fan, then I have excellent news for you: the next DLC for the game is officially set to come out on March 20, and it’s called “From Dusk Till Casa Bonita.”
This side story, which focuses on Coon and Mysterion (Cartman and Kenny), has you infiltrating Cartman’s favorite restaurant, which has been taken over by a brood of vampires, in order to rescue Mysterion’s trapped sister. To do that, not only will you need to rely on your wits and probably farts, but also a new superhero class: Netherborn, which uses four occult powers to overpower their foes. You’ll also get to fight alongside Henrietta, the goth/witch.
The DLC will cost 12 bucks if you’re keen on it, and will launch March 20.
