Sora, from Kingdom Hearts, is Super Smash Bros' Final DLC Fighter

After years or begging, wishing, and hoping, the Super Smash Bros communitys greatest desire has finally been answered: Kingdom Hearts Sora is the final DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Revealed during a special presentation hosted by game boss Masahiro Sakurai, Sora will be the final character added to the popular party fighting game for the Nintendo Switch. Spearheaded by a dramatic reveal trailer, the presentation continues on to give an in-depth look at the character.



Sakurai revealed that Sora was the most popular request from a poll given back during the previous games life. In it, people were asked who they wanted as a fighter the most. The results of that poll were never officially disclosed, but evidence of such were seen in future characters like King K Rool and Wii Fit Trainer.

Alongside Sora will also come a few new Mii Fighter costumes. The first two were Octolings and Judd the Cat, two characters from the Splatoon game series. The third, and most interesting skin, was Doom Slayer, the protagonist from the historical shooter game series Doom. Doom Guy, as hes also known as, was a popular suggestion and request. Most were done as jokes, of course. Well, whos joking now?

Sora, along with the Mii costumes, will be the final DLC available for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It will be available on October 19 as part of the Fighter Pass Season 2 or as a separate purchase.
