Sony has just recently released a gameplay trailer of four games that are Playstation exclusives and will be available in "dynamic 4K". While this is cool and all, people are laughing in the comments section because the games do not run in native 4K. This has been talked about since the release of the PS4 Pro. Gamers have been scratching their heads since the console's debut because they don't understand why it wasn't created to run games in native 4K.

To be honest, I have no idea either. I completely agree that an upgraded console like this should be created around an end-goal of achieving native 4K resolution. The fact that this doesn't offer it just leaves me a bit confused. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter to me because, like most people, I haven't spent a ridiculous amount of money on a 4K display yet. It's just the concept that bothers me.

Regardless of your stance, all of these games do look phenomenal and are only available on Playstation. The trailer includes Horizon Zero Dawn, The Show 17, Gran Turismo Sport, and God of War. I don't know if the gameplay is what made me enjoy the trailer, or if it was due to the Cold War Kids blasting in the background, but it's definitely worth 60 seconds of your time.
