Sony has said that they're going to aggressively pursue mobile gaming. Inspired by the success of Pokemon Go, Kazuo Hirai, CEO of Sony, has announced that the company is going into overdrive while trying to produce games for mobile devices. He want's Sony to be a master of the consoles, as well as the master of your phone.

We're going to have to wait and see what Sony decides to start creating, but basing this idea off of Pokemon Go is rather foolish. The game was a massive success, not because it is the best put together mobile application that the world has ever seen, but because it was created for a franchise that's over 20 years in the making. It's freakin' Pokemon! There have been TV shows aired all over the world, as well as being one of the most played games in the history of gaming.

Sony is making it seem like the game was just made out of the blue and it surprisingly did well. No, it's one of the most well-known video game series and television series in the world. Sony, you can try your best to make a bunch of mobile apps, and maybe it will work out for you, but if you've already mastered console gaming then don't try to teach an old dog new tricks.
