Sony Unveils "Making Of" Documentary for Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4 is coming out soon, despite the delays, and fans are chomping at the bit to experience the final chapter of Nathan Drake’s story. Well, we’ll have to wait another two months for that, as Uncharted 4 isn’t coming out until May 10th, but in the meantime, Naughty Dog has a bit of a treat for the most diehard of Uncharted fans: a series of “making of” videos that looks at the birth and growth of the Uncharted franchise and Nathan Drake’s many adventures.



The first episode, listed above, is called “The Evolution of a Franchise”, but there are four more episodes slated to be released in this five-part series. The others, however, will be titled "Growing up with Drake," "Pushing Technical Boundaries Part 1," "Pushing Technical Boundaries Part 2," and "In the End." It’s easy to guess what they’ll be about from the titles themselves, and they all sound at least kind of interesting, in my humble opinion.

We’ve got a great treat for you as we head into the final weeks of development — today, we are kicking off our five-episode behind-the-scenes series, The Making of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The video team at PlayStation was given incredible access to our studio, game assets, and many of the people working on Uncharted 4, to craft a compelling series to cap off this final chapter for Nathan Drake.

The five-episode series is scheduled to be released throughout March and April, so check back to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Making of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. You’ll want to stick around for the full series — I would go so far as to say it was emotional for a few people here to watch by the time the series wrapped up.
