Skylanders, Disney Infinity, Amiibos oh my! It seems everyone is wanting to get in on the collectible figurine market with their video game brands. Now Sony is teaming up with ThinkGeek (a Gamestop company) to release a small series of figurines based on PlayStation title characters.

The series, called the Totaku Collection, includes 7 different characters, each about 4 inches tall. They are priced at $9.99 each. The figures are as follows.
  • The Hunter, from Bloodborne
  • Crash Bandicoot, Titular
  • Parappa the Rapper, Titular
  • Kratos, from God of War
  • The Feisar FX350 racing ship, from Wipeout
  • Sackboy, from LittleBigPlanet
  • Heihachi, from Tekken
How with all the previously mentioned figurine collections, they contained video game enhancing elements of some kind. This is not the case with the Totaku Collection. They feature no near-field technology and are entirely collectible in nature.

The series will launch on March 23, 2018, exclusively at GameStop. Odds are the success of this line will determine if further collections are created. Personally, I'd love to see a Bound figurine.
