One of the most common ways that secret projects are discovered is through the trademark office. This time we discover that Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. has trademarked something titled "RaySpace."

The trademark was filed in Canada as an individual world trademark by the Japanese Sony offices. This can be seen here, at the European Trade Mark and Design Network.

The ETMDN is an organization that combines National and Regional Intellectual Property Offices, User Associations and other IP Organisations data.

Right now the only digital entity relating to "RaySpace" is a 3D room acoustics simulator. Greatest odds are that this is either a new game by Sony or one of its 2nd party studios or a new app or feature for a PlayStation product. Sony has not made any statement about this discovery so far. Stay tuned for more as things develop.
