It's difficult to say how E3 is going this year. People seem to be split when it comes to the overall performance of E3, but most seemed to be happy with Sony's conference at the very least, even with Sony's emphasis on virtual reality. That said, let's take a look at the games announced at E3 2016 that will be on PlayStation VR, which will release October 13, 2016 for $399 later this year:

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

So we've already seen Resident Evil 7, which appeared to return to its roots of actual horror rather than action, but what's most surprising is the fact that it is going to be compatible with VR. Currently, you can play the demo on the PlayStation Store. If you'd like to, feel free to check out our impressions of the demo.

Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission

Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR mission actually looks quite good. You'd have to check it out for yourself, however.

What's next? Why, the Final Fantasy XV VR experience, which slips you into the shoes of Prompto, who wields his guns to take down the baddies and travels with his trusty companion, Cidney.

Batman: Arkham VR

Following FFXV is Batman: Arkham VR, with a trailer that is rather teasing, as it features just the Joker's voice provoking Batman.

Farpoint

Finally, we have Farpoint, a sci-fi first-person shooter with a self-proclaimed deep narrative with a giant spider boss. Perhaps it's best to just show you the trailer, huh?

Honestly, there weren't many games that were set for VR that were at E3, but it's also important to note that there are plenty more over the horizon. In fact, there are expected to be over 50 VR titles at launch, so be prepared for your wallet to cry if you're wanting to leap into the VR experience. Again, the PlayStation VR will launch on October 13, 2016 for $399.
