A very well known and accomplished speedrunner has been given the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild early, and has been working ruthlessly hard to set history before the game is even released.

Youtuber and Speedrunner Seth Hendrickson aka SethBling, has managed to get to the last boss in the game in around 50 minutes, but has been unable to beat it thus far.  As shocking as it sounds, the game was designed to give very skilled players the option to essentially skip to the end of the game if they so desire, but they made it extremely challenging to do so.  According to Zelda producer Eiji Aunoma, players can basically rush to the end of the game, stating its not impossible, but it is very hard.

Either theyre a really good gamer, or they could be somebody thats a little bit crazy. But its not impossible. said Aunoma.

Seth was given this unique opportunity to test the game largely due to his massive following on youtube in which he has over 1 million nine hundred thousand subscribers.

SethBling contacted Nintendo back in January, expressing his desire rushing through the game, and testing its limits.  Last month they sent him a copy of the Switch, and Zelda.  He's been working mercilessly ever since.  Seth says that he's been playing 12 hours a day, and he's basically put the rest of his life on the sidelines.  He's been breaking the games mechanics down in order to better understand what is and isn't possible.  The game's structure is very loose, giving players a lot of options and opportunities to complete the game.

In the video below, Seth breaks down his speedrunning route, explaining it in detail.  (SPOILER ALERT: He completes the game and shows the final boss)
