Someday, you Might be able to Stream PC Games to your Xbox One. Maybe.

Windows 10 is out today, which is exciting if you’re into non-gaming PC software but is more of a ‘meh’ as far as the rest of us are concerned. However, one of the features of Windows 10—the ability to stream Xbox One games to your PC—most certainly is relevant. It gives the Xbox One just one more edge over it’s now faltering competitor (because it only really has one competitor, let’s be honest), and makes Windows 10 the new order of the day.

But might it be made more enticing? Of course. Because while it’s certainly swell to play your Xbox One games over your PC, a more thrilling experience would be to reverse the situation… and allow streaming of PC games over the Xbox One. Could that one day be the case? Xbox boss Phil Spencer told the Verge that, yes—one day it might.
 

“We understand if you’re going to go PC to Xbox, we need to get keyboard and mouse working completely so you could play those games. In terms of where we want to go with our platform, those are absolutely in scope of things that we want to do.”

…and that’s pretty much it! It would be super neat if it were to happen, but since he couldn’t be more clear about the ‘maybe’ status if that was literally every other word, we’ll just have to cross our fingers and hope. Promising, at least, that he made a point of saying they want to do it, though… good to see Microsoft still has good ideas floating around in that big corporate head of theirs.
