Canada: Often associated with moose, maple syrup, hockey, and the term "eh", but what does the world truly know about the great country that is Canada. Other than our Prime Minister having a much better set of hair than our neighbors President, our bank also is way cooler. As video games are becoming more mainstream and less focused around the stereotype of "nerds" and more around working class citizens, more and more parts of society are coming out in celebration of video games.

The Bank Of Canada recently announced that they will be pushing out a new design for the Canadian $10 bill, and they decided to sneak a cheeky little video game related easter egg into the website. If you're a fan ofold school/retro games, then you'll definitely get a kick out of this, and if you're Canadian, get ready to get some warm, fuzzy, patriotic feelings for your country.

The Konami Code: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a

If you navigate to the Bank Of Canada website and input the Konami Code, you'll get a pretty patriotic surprise. Ah, it's a great time to be Canadian, and an even greater time to be a gamer. Someone at the Bank Of Canada, or at least somebody that does their web-design is a gamer, with mad love for the retro scene. I won't spoil the easter egg for you. Go ahead and give it a try.
