Gamers are very upset with Wal-Mart right now over the confusion and lack of organization regarding the SNES pre-orders that went live on Friday night. Wal-Mart is now canceling pre-orders, saying that the item was displayed before it was available due to a website error. The pre-order time window only lasted about 40 minutes before the website crashed.
The confusion and anger is stemming from Wal-Mart only canceling certain orders. Upon receiving a cancellation email, many angry players took to the internet to talk about there problems. It seems as though some people are getting their pre-orders canceled, but others are moving very smoothly. People don't understand why some pre-orders are being revoked, while others can still retain there's.
I don't really understand what Wal-Mart is doing, but they said that the SNES pre-order window will reopen at a later date. This is such a hot item right now and I can't believe that Wal-Mart is actually canceling the orders, instead of just carrying them over to the next window. I was pretty upset that I missed the pre-order window, but now I'm pretty glad I didn't waste my time. I have no idea when the next pre-order opportunity will surface, but be on your toes and hope for the best.
