Nintendo has announced the biggest, most enticing update to Nintendo Switch Online yet. Now all members will gain access to a library of SNES games.

Announced as part of the most recent Nintendo Direct, the game company announced a new feature available for Nintendo Switch Online members. Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) will be available as a digital library, with 21 games initially available. Best of all, they'll be available later today.

List of Available Games at Launch
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Mario Kart
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Super Metroid
  • Stunt Race FX (The first time it has appeared on another system outside of its original Super NES release!)
  • Kirby's Dream Land 3
  • Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
  • Star Fox
  • F-ZERO
  • Pilotwings
  • Kirbys Dream Course
  • BRAWL BROTHERS
  • Breath of Fire
  • Demon's Crest
  • Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics
  • SUPER E.D.F. EARTH DEFENSE FORCE
  • Super Ghoulsn Ghosts
  • Super Puyo Puyo 2
  • Super Soccer
  • Super Tennis
Like with the NES Library, all of these games will be available as a free feature to Nintendo Switch Online members. It will feature co-op local and online functionality, save states, as well as the recently implemented "Rewind" feature.

The SNES Library will be available later today (tomorrow for you UK folks, sorry) in the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo Switch Online is available for $20 a year, or $35 a year for a family plan. It comes with online access for multiplayer games, cloud saves, shop discounts, and the NES and SNES Library.
