Okay, okay, so Payday 2 was the center of controversy (when it comes to microtransactions, anyway) awhile back, but it seems as if the devs are making up for said controversy. How so? By giving the first 5 million Steam users free copies of Payday 2.
If you want the title, then you must log onto your Steam account, go to the Payday 2 page, and click the Install Now button. Et voila! You'll have access to Payday 2 for life!
You don't even need to install it. As long as you register the title in your library, you'll be good to go. However, you'll wanna hurry, because 5 million free game codes are gonna go... fairly quick. If, somehow, not all the codes have been redeemed, you'll have until June 21 to snag a copy.
