Been waiting excitedly for the New Nintendo 3DS but a little upset over how only the XL released? Well, no more sadness for you, because the smaller version will be soon available in U.S. stores--very soon.
According to the official Nintendo statement, the improved handheld will be making its way onto shelves September 25. So exactly 25 days from now. The handheld will be bundled with Animal Crossing, Happy Home Designer, a pair of cover plates, and an amiibo card. The bundle, unfortunately will cost a pretty $219.99 USD. What will also be available alongside this bundle is the "Hyrule Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL," exclusive to GameStop. This golden Hylian-crested version will release October 30--a week after the release of Tri Force Heroes--priced at $199.99.
The smaller New Nintendo 3DS will have the same features as the New Nintendo 3DS XL, which has been available since February 13, in case you're wondering. You may want to pre-order the Hyrule Gold Edition ASAP if you'd want it, because scalpers could be lurking...
Nintendo also unveiled three new Wii Remote Plus controllers during the GameStop Conference: Browser, Toad, and Yoshi. So there are those to also look forward to!
