Skullgirls 2nd Encore Teases Next Fighter: Annie of the Stars

Theyve been keeping busy at the Skullgirls development offices. In this case, its with a new fighter. Introducing the star-powered magical girl actress, Annie!

Announced with her own teaser trailer. Annie is the protagnist of a Sailor Moon style TV show called Annie of the Stars. Much of this appears to be reflected in her character, with action sequences and dialogue quips about film settings and concepts. She even comes with a stage set in front of a filming set.



Annie will be part of the Skullgirls: 2nd Encore DLC, a content expansion for the popular 2D fighting game, Skullgirls. The entire 2nd Encore pack costs $15. She will also likely appear as her own DLC download, available for $2. They havent confirmed this, but thats how every other DLC character has been handled so far.

Annie is available now on mobile devices. She will appear next on PC as part of the early access version of the expansion. After that it will release proper on all platforms.
