Shakedown: Hawaii is a very interesting game to say the very least. You play as a middle-aged CEO who is getting lost in the technological advances of the world. He no longer understands what happened to the way business used to be conducted, and he needs to learn very quickly. He finds that online shopping has destroyed his retail industry, while his taxi business is suffering from carpooling and personalized services.
He needs to take some pretty drastic measures, and he certainly doesn't hold back. At one point in the trailer, you can see him having a discussion with an architect about building a luxury shopping center. This would, of course, attract plenty of tourists to make him lots of money. In the next scene, you can clearly see him taking a flamethrower to the outdated market that currently stands in his city.
While this game is certainly unique, I'm curious to see what kind of fanbase the game is able to pick up. Granted, the game is fairly new and doesn't have an official release date yet, but with the full reveal trailer out for the world to see, we might get a good idea if this game is going to be a flop or a masterpiece. Check out the trailer down below!
