Blizzard's new and upcoming IP Overwatch is getting a lot of attention during BlizzCon. Recently, the Overwatch team announced that a series of animated shorts reminiscent of the Overwatch universe will be happening. According to Chris Metzen, senior vice president of story and franchise development at Blizzard, these shorts can be watched in any order and will be coupled with "comic shorts" which will be available for free.

Overwatch, which has been delayed, will be arriving for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in Spring of 2016. So far, the game is turning out pretty interesting, but personally, I'm more interested in seeing the shorts.

If you're interested in checking out the game sooner, you can always sign up for the upcoming beta here.
