For the longest time, you could only play a Yakuza game on a PlayStation. Developer Sega is making an effort to enter the PC market, however. As seen with the recently ported Yakuza 0. Now we learn that Yakuza 6: Song of Life will be coming to the platform.
First discovered by Reddit user khawaja07, the recently released Q1 2018 fiscal report by Sega lists Yakuza 6: Song of Life as a 2018 Q4 release in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PC (it's on page 10). Since the game has already released on PS4, we can only assume this to be a PC port of the title.
Converting a game to work on a different platform is a long and tedious process. Sometimes the technical differences are simply too much for a game. Delayed ports of games are entirely common, even with major titles. We're still waiting on the PC release of Monster Hunter: World, after all.
No official statement has been released by Sega at this time, though we can expect a holiday release, if true.
