Fans of science fiction, mystery, or any combination thereof may want to check out Breached. It releases on Steam tomorrow, so developers have debuted a trailer on YouTube showing some gameplay. The game's story highlights the experiences of a lone survivor on an isolated base and planet. On first look, it seems as if Breached has two goals: find out what happened and survive. And, as expected, neither of those things are going to be straightforward.

Still glad you signed up for the Mars mission?

Breached starts out by putting players right in the character's space shoes. The protagonist wakes up from cryogenic sleep and sees that everything is not exactly going smoothly. From there, because there must not be anything better to do, players are tasked with using top notch detective skills to learn how this all came to be. This can be accomplished in many ways, such as digging through journals and exploring the outside via drone. However, there is the whole "staying alive" thing too. Players have hopefully have a copy of The Martian at hand, because they've got to try and keep the base running in order to survive. Oh, and you supposedly only have 8 days. The bad news is that this game should take you less than 2 hours to wrap up a playthrough. The good news is that it supposedly has replay value, and you'll need to play it more than once to get the whole story. The great news is that it will be $6.99. That's definitely not a bad price to solve some moon mysteries.
