Saints Row Developer Announces New Game, Agents of Mayhem

I'm a big fan of the Saints Row games, and I've always been sad that their creators, Volition, was thrown under the bus when THQ went bankrupt: seemed like a fate they didn't deserve. Fortunately, their team and IP was salvaged from ruin by the folks at Deep Silver, and seem to have been treating them pretty well.

Saints Row ended with the 4th (thank god for that, it'll be hard to find a direction now that the Saints have taken over the known universe), so we've all been at the edge of our seats waiting to see what they would choose to do next: and with E3 just around the horizon, it seems we finally have our answer--another sandbox game, but this time, where you work for the other side of the law!

Okay, so... I like it well enough. It's a shame the three main characters are either boring or jerks, but... knowing Volition, we're probably going to make our own agent and those blokes will just be side characters. So, while we don't know much, other than the open world business, one thing is for certain: that asshole Hollywood sent a man to his death because he was busy on his phone.

What a grade-A prick.
