Could it be something or nothing? Maybe a Switch title?

There's a new Nintendo rumor floating around, and it's in the form of a particular snowboarding game - 1080 Snowboarding, to be exact. Nintendo has recently filed a trademark on the following name: "1080 Ten Eighty." Furthermore, the logo has been trademarked. For those unaware, 1080 was a rather popular snowboarding title for the Nintendo 64. The title garnered enough attention to produce a sequel, otherwise known as 1080 Avalanche for the Nintendo GameCube.

So with this trademark occurrence came the speculations. What will we see? Will we see a remake or a remaster of 1080, or could we possibly see a new entry to the franchise?

This news was sparked by Twitter user Pixelpar:

"Nintendo has filed a trademark registration for 1080 Ten Eighty. 1080 Snowboarding was first released on N64 in 1998, hitting the Wii's Virtual Console 10 years later (2008). The sequel "1080 Avalanche" was released on GameCube in 2003. pic.twitter.com/VJ8wcesbv8
