Rumors float about so often, but there are some that are so believable that it's bound to happen sooner or later. A US retailer--Target--may have actually slipped the PlayStation 4 price drop on its website. Though this text may not serve as absolute confirmation, it does reassure us that the PlayStation 4 price drop is worldwide after all. During TGS, it was announced that the PlayStation 4 would be receiving a price drop, and not long after the same news was announced in Europe. So it was simply a matter of time before the US followed suit.

On Target's site, the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PlayStation 4 bundle was listed as $349.99 accompanied with "$50 price drop on the PS4."

Target, however, is also offering $50 gift cards with two other bundles, leaving a sense of confusion with the customer. Perhaps the price drop begins with the Uncharted Bundle, who knows?

This is a perfect strategy nevertheless for the holiday season. Since, the listing has been pulled, which is unfortunate, but Sony can only hide the facts for so long!
