Rumors - without rumors, we wouldn't be speculating. We would just have to wait for confirmation. But rumors spice up the life. It always leads to a few questions such as "What if?" This could very well lead to excitement. Well, we all know that the Nintendo Switch is coming out soon, but here's a tidbit that may pique your interest: Mother 3, the Game Boy Advance RPG, may be heading to the Nintendo Switch Virtual Console. Additionally, this news will be revealed at the Nintendo Switch Presentation next week.

This is according to Laura Kate Dale, via Twitter:

"Mother 3 VC Switch Q2 2017. Will be announced Jan 12 event. I know the Mother 3 port rumour has existed for a long time. I'm sticking my flag in Switch Q2 2017."

Personally, I'm not exactly excited for Mother 3, but it's only because I've still yet to play the original Mother and Earthbound.

Either way, stay tuned to the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, which will broadcast at 8pm PT (11pm ET) on Thursday, January 12.
