Rumor: Nintendo Switch Mini May Be Available as Soon as Next Year

So while there are many of you who are currently enjoying your Nintendo Switch consoles - I certainly am, though I'm just borrowing the Switch at the moment - you probably have not considered a miniature version of this fast-selling device. Well, according to BGR, Nintendo has tipped to investors that a Switch Mini might debut in the fiscal year through March 2019, meaning that it could arrive next year.

Yes, a Switch Mini. If that is the case, I may as well just save my money for a Switch Mini. According to analysts:

Although the Nintendo Switch can be used as a handheld device, we think smaller children could struggle to use it comfortably in that format due to its size and weight. Accordingly, we think Nintendo will launch a lighter, dedicated handheld version of the Switch, possibly to be called the Switch Mini.

Additionally, Nintendo could sell 6.7 million Switch Mini consoles within the twelve months through March 2019. Furthermore, Nintendo should also sell 25.7 million regular Switch consoles by that time.

However, there seems to be no true evidence that the Switch Mini is currently in production.
