So there's a rumor going around regaring one of Nintendo's largest IPs. What IP in particular? Why, The Legend of Zelda. Apparently, Nintendo is currently developing a The Legend of Zelda title for the mobile phone.
Supposedly, the Animal Crossing smartphone app will be first, releasing in the latter half of 2017. Following that will be The Legend of Zelda mobile phone game. Nintendo will be working with the Tokyo-based DeNA Co. to produce this title.
At the moment, the representatives of Nintendo and DeNA have declined for comment.
There are so many questions revolving around this title. What genre will it be? Will it be a "GO" type, like Pokemon GO? Would it be an endless runner? It seems as if it will follow a similar format as the other Nintendo titles: simple (and a little disappointing compared to their console brethren, but that is a subjective matter).
Furthermore, will this be a premium title? If that's the case, what will be the price? $10, just like Super Mario Run?
Hm... so many questions, so little time. I suppose we will find out when - and if - it will be unveiled.
