Remember playing Mother 3? No?

Well, I don't blame you, considering it never made it to the West. We thought it'd never make it here, buried underneath rumors and speculation.

However, last year, Nintendo surprised fans with the announcement of a global release of the original Mother, titled EarthBound Beginnings. But what about Mother 3?

Well, nothing. However, this February, Eurogamer reported a rumor that Mother 3 was almost out of localization. The statements were taken back since. But someone, Emily Rogers, decided to spark up the rumor mill by saying that Mother 3 will be coming to the west in 2016. It would make sense that it'd be this year, as the 10th anniversary of Mother 3 is April 20.

Anyway, currently, it's best to not get overhyped. After all, it's a rumor, which should be taken with a grain of salt.

Then again, what if it does happen?
