Dead Rising has been a series that is fairly popular, but at the same time seems to fall under obscurity not longer after release. Well, there's a rumor floating about that there is a Dead Rising 4 in the works, according to a leak from ThisGenGaming. It was actually reported a couple days ago that it was in development at Capcom Vancouver; not only that, but there was the possibility of an exclusivity deal and that it will appear at this year's E3, bearing the supposed claim that it will "make fans of the series happy." Dead Rising 3 was launched back in 2013 as an Xbox One and PC exclusive title, so it's about time a new one would arrive.
Dead Rising 4 is rumored to be a complete remake of the first title set during Christmas-time, with the addition of co-op and online functionalities. There has been since been an update with new information, saying that the game will come to Windows 10 PC alongside the Xbox One as a Windows Store exclusive.
Windows Store exclusives never turn out to be the greatest sellers, I believe. Now if it was on Windows Store and Steam... then I could see the sales "rising." Get it?
Anyway, Frank West will return as protagonist, but Capcom Vancouver also added a four-player co-op system that allows players to leap into the shoes of Chuck, Nick, and Annie.
It's a good time to be dead at this year's E3!
Y'know, instead of alive, 'cause zombies? Ha, ha?
