In the most recent issue of Licensing Source Book Europe, A publication dedicated to all things licensing, Max Arguile, Licensing Manager for licensed merchandising company BG Eye, made the following statement in regards to the IP and its future.
"The new game was a huge success at retail with no marketing spend. Next year it will be going broader (Switch and PC) and there will be another game in 2019. Activision have a five-year plan for this and GB eye is delighted to be fully on board for all products."
Before you start giving Arguile a hard time for the phrasing "Activision have," know that British grammar treats companies as a plural noun, so that is considered correct.
This makes a few heavy claims for the Crash brand:
- The N.Sane Trilogy will be ported to Switch and PC this year.
- A new Crash title will be releasing next year.
- Activision has plans for Crash up until 2022.
