It appears as if Battlefield 5 is going back to its roots, according to World of Games, a German retailer. Originally, the site declared that EA's upcoming shooter was a "Mehrspieler Taktik Shooter im 1. Weltkrieg." Translation?

Multiplayer tactical shooter in WW1. Additionally, the game is planned for release October 26. Unfortunately, the listing has updated to just say "multiplayer tactical shooter." Thanks to Thrillho on Twitter, the screenshot exists with the WW1 statement plastered.

So far and to anyone's knowledge, DICE has been working on a new Battlefield game that was to take place in a military setting. Do you think this means WW1? I could see that happening, truth be told. It seems as if people are clamoring for roots, whereas Call of Duty could be set in space now...
