It kind of gives off a BioShock Vibe.

It's been a little over a year since the PlayStation 4 launch of the insanely popular sequel to Super Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars, Rocket League, and the free (and paid) updates for the LAN-supportive title relentlessly poured in, to the joy of fans worldwide.

Over the past year, we've witnessed a vast array of fresh cars, decor, arenas, and even modes (editor's note: just last night, I've finally jumped into Rocket League after a year-long hiatus, and let me tell you, Rumble Mode is a delight), with no end in sight!

By "no end in sight," I'm referring to the fact that developer Psyonix has recently unveiled the very much free  "AquaDome" update, which will drift onto Rocket League sometime in October. According to the official site:

"Inspired by the seven seas, the creatures beneath the waves, and the machines we use to study both, AquaDome is the first standard Arena we've released since Utopia Coliseum. Expect to see AquaDome on every Rocket League playlist, including Competitive, when it's released next month."

To add onto that juicy piece of news, the team will be added two new Battle-Cars to the roster, both of which will be priced at $1.99 each. There is Triton, a futuristic ocean sub car, and Proteus, a more standard car.

Enough of my blather - you need to instead check out this here sweet trailer.

Rocket League is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for $19.99.
