Psyonix has decided to change things around a little bit on Rocket League recently. The latest patch to the game has altered some of the ranked tiers. Before the update, many players were settled into their spot in Challenger I to Challenger III. Now, they've spaced things out a bit to give a better estimate of your actual skill range.
Players might be moving up or down depending on how they've been playing lately, but it should also be a lot easier for you to move divisions. By spacing things out a bit more, players have the chance to be matched with others that are closer to their skill level. This patch brought me from Challenger Elite to All-Star, so I'm not complaining in the slightest.
Along with that, the Halloween event is coming back! Not only will this include all of the toppers, boosts, and antennas from last year, but they're also adding the Bone King and Ghost toppers, a Fuzzy Skull antenna, and a Netherworld rocket boost trail.
This event kicks off on October 18th, but the ranked changes and latest patches are in effect right now. If you haven't checked it out yet, make sure you fuel up, equip a hula girl antenna with the plunger topper, and get on the field!
