Rise of the Tomb Raider is a fantastic game, with jaw-dropping graphics and powerful story. So it's no surprise that it has claimed the Writers Guild of America's Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing at the show last night. However, I will say that it's surprising it beat out The Witcher 3, of all games. Rise of the Tomb Raider came out on top over The Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
The writers of Rise of the Tomb Raider, John Stafford, Cameron Suey, Rhianna Pratchett, and Phillip Gelatt were listed as the winners. That's truly an amazing and very well deserved award, folks, and congrats on the achievement!
