Mechs
- Hunter - Smallest and fastest rig. Hits hard but can't take much damage.
- Sentinal - Largest and slowest rig. Can absorb a lot of damage.
- Tempest - Also small and fast. Very similar to the Hunter rig, but the Tempest can fly around the map.
- Mirage - Tall and slender. Most balanced rig and has the ability to double jump.
- Vampire - Regains health after each kill.
- Engineer - Heals allies and interferes with enemy radar.
- Carapace - Carry a large shield on your back to prevent melee assassinations from behind.
There are also several game modes available. Team Takedown is your standard deathmatch game, Endzone is the football gamemode, and Power Slam is the combination of the two with some interesting twists. If you gather up a killstreak in Power Slam, your mech unlocks all three abilities for a short amount of time and goes into overdrive. The only way to score in overdrive is to take the ball to the center of the field and jump into the large circular goal there.
The game looks like a great time. It doesn't seem too difficult and they mix sports and guns together very well. RIGS is going to be $49.99 tomorrow, so if this sounds appealing to you, it's not too late to pre-order.
