RIDE to Release Spring of 2015

Sneaky, sneaky, Bandai Namco is.

While we have recently received a lot of games and press from video game corporations like Ubisoft, Rockstar, 343 Industries, and Electronic Arts, we haven't heard all that much from the Tekken producer Bandai Namco. So what have the developers been up to?

Vroom, vroom.

That's right, the company has been playing with motorcycles. Bandai Namco has plans to release its newest game, RIDE, in spring of 2015. This seems a bit sudden, considering there hasn't been much, if any, word on it. The motorcycle-based racing simulator will be featured on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC with more than 100 various bikes from known manufacturers to drift through a variety of circuits that are found in both the city and country landscapes. These bikes will be categorized in the following: Superbikes, Supersports, Naked, and Historical. Ride is currently being developed by Milestone S.r.l., an Italian studio known for creating MotoGP and MXGP series. The game promises to support vast customization for both the vehicles and riders and a wide array of game play options to occupy the player over the long term.

The public will be able to access the game first at Sony's "PlayStation Experience" convention, held in Las Vegas on December 6th and 7th. Though RIDE is not Road Rash, it does seem like an interesting game - a game that I hope lives up to its promises and provides the player with an in-depth experience sans the buggy beginning.
