Gran Turismo Sport will not be released on November 15, 2016. Though this was the announced date, developer Polyphony Digital has stated that the game will not be out until 2017. There haven't been any clear cut reasons as to why this delay is taking place, but lead developer Kazunori Yamauchi has said that Polyphony wants the game to reach its full potential.
Obviously a developer doesn't want to release a poor title, especially since it's their first PS4 release. With just a little more than two months until the initial release, Polyphony is dropping the delay on players last minute. Hopefully this delay is well worth it and players will be getting a great game in Gran Turismo Sport. The game is claiming to be extremely technologically advanced and should be one of the best racing titles to ever hit the market. If the delay sets them back and they still can't deliver a quality game in 2017, there are going to be quite a few angry gamers. Get it done quick Polyphony. I'm hoping it's an early 2017 release for Gran Turismo Sport, as I can't imagine them pushing it back more than six months, but I guess you never know in this industry.
