With the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2, players are incredibly hyped, but only if they have an Xbox One or PS4. PC players will not be getting Red Dead Redemption 2, at least, that's what the original announcement said. Since that announcement, a petition has been created to get the game on PC. It wants 25,000 signatures, and since yesterday the petition has already acquired 18,492. If Rockstar cares enough to take a look at this, they will probably realize that this needs to be available for PC on launch day.
You would think after the whole GTA 5 thing Rockstar would learn. It took 19 months for GTA 5 to get to PC after it was released for console, which is absolutely ridiculous. For the most part, PC gets everything. Microsoft and Sony have their war and that's all cool, but PC is just a group that isn't involved in the console war. Rockstar has no problem releasing to both Xbox and Playstation, but PC is the issue? I truly don't understand it. Hopefully the petition gets all signed up and it's enough to get Rockstar's attention. Red Dead Redemption 2 needs to come out on PC, and if we have to wait 19 months like we did for GTA, I don't think I'll be buying the game.
You can find the petition and sign it right here.
