The development team has recently commented on the overall progress of the client on the Rainbow Six Siege subreddit:
"The good news is that for those who received their access, the experience has been trending positively."
"We've been getting good feedback on the content of the beta, and matchmaking and server stability have already been improved."
So with all that said...
"There are still a few issues to work out, of course, and we will continue to do that over the course of the beta. Given the current situation, we've made the decision to extend the closed beta by 3 days. It will run through Thursday, October 1st."
So that's at least some good news for everyone, considering there are those that have yet to jump into the beta. Currently, all pre-order customer codes have been distributed, but the non-pre-order codes are still in the process of being sent to recipient e-mail boxes. In the meantime, for those that have been able to jump right in, you can always follow these devs tips and tricks on the official site. The game is looking great so far, but unfortunately, there won't be a single-player campaign, which can be a bit of a bummer for many.
