Quiet can Corrupt your MGS V Save Data

That's a problem if you like saving data. Not so much if you like 45 minute cinimatic tutorials.

Konami, otherwise known as that company you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark alley, recently took to Twitter to warn people of a game-breaking Metal Gear Solid V bug. Metal Gear Solid V, which is going to win Game of the Year without much real competition from a lot of journalists, has got a big enough fan base that I feel obligated to repeat those warnings, lest you corrupt your save file and turn your experience extremely sour.

The problem, as most problems in Metal Gear Solid V do, stem from Quiet, your bikini-clad sniper-lady companion. If you bring her along as your companion in missions 29 or 42, the game freaks out for some reason and it may corrupt your save file. This is bad, because while there are more buddies than just Quiet, there aren’t that many… and unsurprisingly, she’s something of a fan favorite.

While Konami is going to patch the problem, they also said they don’t know exactly when it would come out. So we’ll just have to sit on our hands and wait in the meantime.

And there’s your PSA for the day.
