So around early April, QuakeCon had unfortunately but understandably joined in on the wave of cancellations and postponements due to coronavirus concerns. But that didn't mean the party won't begin. Today, QuakeCon announced, via Twitter, an alternative program called QuakeCon at Home!
Yes, 100 percent online, right at: www.quakecon.org.
This event will be held from August 7 until August 9, 2020 and will include livestreams, tournaments, charity fundraising, and some secrets they're not willing to spill quite yet.
And if we want any more information, we'll just have to wait and twiddle our thumbs as QuakeCon provides more details in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for the latest!
