It was announced last Friday that AT&T is going to return as a sponsor for QuakeCon for the 4th year in a row, providing internet for QuakeCon. The sponsorship will allow for attendees to play games that require online access, as well as providing setup services for LAN games that are to be hosted there. Alongside this, we are bound to see people streaming the convention through multiple outlets, such as Twitch in order to give outside viewers a perspective into the convention itself.

Sweet! AT&T's a fairly big sponsor, and to see them coming back to the floor is always a good sign that QuakeCon's popularity and enjoyment is in good standing. As a longtime sponsor, it's no wonder they're on the ticket, it's one hell of a spectacle to even witness, let alone support (and I mean that in the best of ways, LAN parties tend to be pretty fun depending on who you're with). As far as ISPs go, it's a decent provider, better than some out there, and should be adequate enough for the thousands of players and attendees that are bound to show up!

God help you if you take our internet away from us. GOD HELP YOU.
