Alright, so let's talk some QuakeCon. As you may know, QuakeCon 2018 is just around the corner - well, more like in a few months, but it'll be here before you know it. Anyway, we've learned some additional details regarding QuakeCon 2018

First, the event schedule:
  • This is the first time that the exhibit hall will be open from Friday through Sunday, meaning a full weekend of fun.
  • Last year, for the first time ever, they allowed BYOC people in early Wednesday between 10 - 11pm CST, so it may happen again this year.
  • There will be a Quake Champions tournament held in the QuakeCon Open. The prize will be $200,000
  • The new schedule will be as follows:
Thursday: BYOC Begins (though it may be on Wednesday night)
Friday: BYOC, Exhibit Hall, Tournaments
Saturday: BYOC, Exhibit Hall, Tournaments
Sunday: BYOC, Exhibit Hall, Tournaments

Ticketing and Registration:

The QuakeCon team is working on a better, smoother process for registration. As a result, details haven't been announced.

General admittance will remain free, but BYOC attendees must pre-purchase a package. You can find the details via this chart

SWAG Pack

Yes, the swag pack is back. During package registration, you'll have the opportunity to add a limited edition bag of goodies to your ticket selection. Pre-orders, however, will be available for a limited time and for $150. What does the swag pack include? Well, you'll receive:
  • A premium roll-over backpack
  • Set of three exclusive pins
  • QuakeCon stainless steel water bottle
  • QuakeCon air freshener
  • Oversized QuakeCon mousepad
  • QuakeCon luggage tag
  • Last but not least, a 36-inch inflatable Rocket Launcher from Quake Champions
Oh, and all BYOC tickets will include an Official 2018 QuakeCon Pin!

Can you say, best QuakeCon swag pack ever?

I sure can!
