Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare doesn't have many fans these days. It seems as if there really has been a mass Exodus from the one-time dominant figure in the military shooter to their long-time second-fiddle competitor, Battlefield. Folks ate up the Battlefield 1 beta, and the early reviews are pretty dang positive... but of course, it's comparing apples and oranges right now, as barely anyone has gotten a chance to actually try the newest Call of Duty yet. Perhaps an equally impressive demo will be enough to level the playing field.
Or should I say--level the Battlefield?!
...Anyway, things aren't off to a great start for Activision. The beta, which will be on the Xbox One and PS4, will begin on October 21st and run until the 24th... unless you pre-ordered the game on the PS4, in which case you get to play the demo a week early, starting on the 14th. So even in demos, the company is bringing around it's old nickel-and-dime habits. That's promising.
Oh, and also, there's no PC beta.
That bodes poorly, but hey: maybe the beta will be really, really, REALLY good?
