Prepare to fall in love with Lynx kittens, because Shelter 2, Might and Delight's beautifully-abstract adventure game, has settled onto Steam, Good Old Games, and the Humble Store for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

According to Might and Delight:

Shelter 2 is an experience that does not aim to give players all the answers. Both the story and the "purpose" of the game is meant to be interpreted by each person playing it. There is no right or wrong, and just like the first Shelter, one cannot "fail" by common definition. We have tried to create a game close to the simplicity of nature. Right now we are happy, tired, and very excited to see how players find the experience.

Basically, the purpose of this game is to explore nature at will and do your best to live life as a lynx.

You begin the game as a pregnant lynx preparing her den for birth and eventually facing the difficulties of parenthood, ensuring that your cubs are raised healthy and ready to face the harsh environments.

Additionally, Shelter 2 boasts more gameplay elements its spiritual predecessor, the badger-happy Shelter, such as stamina, different movement types, jumps, broader range of prey, and maternal features like calling for your cubs and feeding them.

If the description doesn't sell you, then perhaps you would like to take a look at the gameplay video below. And if the gameplay video doesn't sell you, then it is assumed that you have had an unhappy experience with lynxes:
