Prepare for War and Suit Up as a Delta Recruit in Star Trek Online

The Iconian War stirs on the horizon, and combatants like you are being sought to defend the galaxy. Perfect World Entertainment Inc. and Cryptic Studios have announced Delta Recruitment for Star Trek Online, a unique in-game event set to prepare the world for the Iconian War, which begins April 2nd. Both new and old players are eligible to participate and are able to earn unique rewards.

The conflict itself has been brewing for over five years in the game, and the Iconians, an ancient race, pose a massive threat. The wartime experience itself will span over several months, and any new captains created during the Delta Recruitment event will earn progression-based rewards like gear, week long events, upgrade materials, and valuable numerics through person and community-wide goals, and all of this will be unlocked account-wide so no character will be left behind. Those currently exploring the galaxy will earn an additional character slot to create a Delta Recruit.

Until April 2nd, you can download the free-to-play game and live the life of a Captain of a Federation starship, inherit the Empire and guide it as a Klingon Warrior, or slip into the shoes of the commander of a Romulan Republic Warbird.
