Valve still cant count to three, but it can still milk its franchises for all their worth: Introducing Portal Pinball!

I shouldn't be so jaded. After all, the people behind this port are the fantastic Zen Studios, who pretty much wrote the book on making pinball video games... seriously, these guys only do one thing, but they do it really damn well, and their passion for pinball makes them as legit as you can get in this crazy cynical age.

But really, we ARE getting a Portal pinball game. Using the Aperture Science Heuristic Portal Pinball Device," you can create portals, solve puzzles, and confront GLaDOS in condensed pinball form.

From the release page:

Guide Chell and Wheatley through test chambers by navigating portals, using aerial faith plates, defeating turrets and facing other obstacles, and battling against GLaDOS as you attempt to escape the facility and reach the surface. Team up with ATLAS and P-Body for their Cooperative Testing Initiative Multiball and wreak havok on the Turret Factory by discovering Ratmans hidden mini playfield.

The folks at Zen studios always have some cool, unique twist to bring to each table they develop, and the use of rotating bouncing plates, light bridges, and light ray puzzles will make this table no different; a joy to play, if impractical to try to re-design in real life.

It'll be available May 25th on Zen's Pinball Platform. A good pint-sided taste of Portal, if you're needing a fix for some reason.
