Now, playing with a Porshe was always possible, if you got some special DLC deal, but by the end of the year, the company plans to fully expand and let gamers from all digital driving simulators grab hold of their best-engineered automobiles.
According to Sebastian [Gerhart of SpeedManiacs] they were also always following what was going on in the gaming industry aside from EA. The license with EA runs out this year, because together they arrived at the realization that the current situation was not desirable anymore.
So that's pretty cool. Generally, exclusivity deals are bad business for customers, and the Porche's strange absence in more popular series has been a source of grief for bigger fans of drivin' stuff. Seeing one more exclusivity deal go away is always good news!
So celebrate that. If you want.
